Germany's AfD unlikely to govern despite state election win

Schwerin, Germany (dpa) - The far-right Alternative for Germany's (AfD) candidate for state premier has said he does not expect his party to enter government in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern despite winning Sunday's state election. "I think we could govern. However, at the moment it does not look as though that will happen," Leif-Erik Holm told broadcaster NDR on Monday.
