Annual Inflation in US Slows in July As Expected, Drops to 3.4% From 3.5% in June - DOL

MOSCOW, August 12 (RIA Novosti) - Annual inflation in the United States slowed to 3.4% in July as expected, down from 3.5% in the previous month, according to data from Department of Labor (DOL) released on Wednesday. On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased by 0.1% after falling by 0.4% in June compared to May. Both indicators matched the forecasts of analysts surveyed by Trading Economics.
