Three killed after car crashes onto railway line in southern Germany

Munich (dpa) - Three people were killed on Thursday after their car veered off a motorway in southern Germany and came to a stop on a railway line, disrupting both road and rail traffic, police said. The car left the A3 motorway near Nittendorf, west of Regensburg, at around 7 am (0500 GMT) for reasons that remain unclear. No other vehicle was involved.
