S. Korea's foreign currency deposits grow for 3rd month in June

SEOUL, July 27 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's foreign currency deposits grew for a third consecutive month due to strong demand for the U.S. dollar, central bank data showed Monday. The deposits, denominated in foreign currencies, rose 1.08 billion U.S. dollars from a month earlier to 113.33 billion dollars at the end of June, continuing to go up since April, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).
