WASHINGTON, July 2 (RIA Novosti) - The US Department of War said it had awarded AeroVironment Inc. a contract worth $500 million to boost the anti-drone capabilities. "AeroVironment Inc., Simi Valley, California, was awarded a $500,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of commercial counter-unmanned aerial systems and counter small-unmanned aerial systems capabilities," the Pentagon said in a statement.
