Nuremberg, Germany (dpa) - The number of unemployed people in Germany fell by 15,000 in June compared to May to 2.93 million, though the recovery on the German labour market remained weak, the Federal Employment Agency said on Tuesday. The unemployment rate fell by 0.1 percentage points in the same period to 6.2%, the agency said. Compared to June 2025, the number of unemployed people rose by 22,000.
