Siemens Energy and NSORe snag North Sea offshore wind contract

Munich (dpa) - The German transmission system operator 50Hertz has awarded a contract for up to 2 gigawatts of wind energy to Siemens Energy and Neptun Smulders Offshore Renewables (NSORe), Munich-based Siemens Energy reported on Wednesday. No price information was disclosed. Siemens Energy said it expects to book the order in its fiscal year beginning October 1, 2026.
