Iraq Starts Exporting Oil Via Border Crossing With Syria - Border Ports Authority

BAGHDAD, May 2 (RIA Novosti) - Iraq has begun exporting oil through the Rabia border crossing with Syria, a route that has been closed for 13 years, the Iraqi Border Ports Authority said on Saturday. "In order to expand export opportunities and diversify trade routes, the Border Ports Authority announced the start of oil exports through the Rabia border crossing with Syria, where 70 tankers with oil were sent," the statement read.
