Namibia completes FATF action plan ahead of May deadline

WINDHOEK, 30 APR (NAMPA) - Namibia has successfully addressed all 13 strategic deficiencies identified by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), completing its required action plan ahead of the May 2026 deadline.
Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (Namfisa) Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Erna Motinga, announced the development during the launch of the April 2026 Financial Stability Report (FSR) in Windhoek on Thursday.
