Half of Germans say nuclear exit was a mistake, poll shows

Berlin (dpa) - About half of Germans believe the country's nuclear exit was a mistake, according to a poll by YouGov and the Sinus Institute published on Tuesday. Some 53% of respondents said shutting down the last reactors three years ago was the wrong decision, while 40% supported the move. Nearly one in three (32%) said the phase-out was "completely wrong." Germany exited nuclear power in April 2023, when its final three reactors were switched......
