Baby food maker HiPP says it is target of extortion attempt

Vienna/Munich (dpa) - Baby food maker HiPP said on Monday it was the target of an extortion attempt after a jar of its baby food contaminated with rat poison was found in Austria. "HiPP is the victim of extortion," the family-run company said in a statement. A 190-gram jar of HiPP carrot and potato baby food contaminated with rat poison was seized in Austria's Burgenland region over the weekend. At least two jars are believed to have been put int......
