UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer admitted to MPs Monday he should not have appointed disgraced Labour party grandee Peter Mandelson as ambassador to Washington. Addressing parliament about a deepening political scandal, Starmer said: "At the heart of this, there is also a judgment I made that was wrong. I should not have appointed Peter Mandelson."
