Russian Central Bank Says Not Seeking to Reach 4% Inflation by Year-End 'at Any Cost'

MOSCOW, April 16 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Central Bank does not seek to achieve the inflation of 4% by the end of the year "at any cost" and does not consider it advisable, Governor Elvira Nabiullina said on Thursday. "Why is our forecast for this year 4.5%- 5.5%, and we are not striving to reach 4% at any cost? We can still make decisions now that could bring inflation to a lower value, but we do not consider it advisable," Nabiullina said......
