The UAE said Wednesday that Iran should pay for damage caused by its Gulf attacks, adding that it was seeking clarification on how the truce will ensure Tehran ceases hostilities and reopens the Strait of Hormuz. The United States and Iran agreed to a two-week truce after more than a month of hostilities, but the ceasefire has proved fragile with Iran reporting attacks and several Gulf states including the UAE saying Tehran had struck them.
