Police: 38-year-old man shot in Berlin, life not at risk

Berlin (dpa) - A 38-year-old man was shot in Berlin's Schöneberg district and taken to hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower body, police said early on Monday. He is not believed to be in life-threatening condition. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire around midnight (2300 GMT Sunday), after which the suspect or suspects fled in a car.
