DOHA, March 23 (RIA Novosti) - An unusually severe thunderstorm for commonly dry Qatar, with thunder, lightning, and heavy rain, hit Doha and its suburbs, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported from the city. The storm hit the Qatari capital on Monday night. Lightning strikes brightened the sky, and the rain poured down in such thick sheets that it steamed.
