Munich (dpa) - Green candidate Dominik Krause is ahead in Sunday's run-off election for Munich mayor, handing another historic defeat to the centre-left Social Democrats in one of Germany's largest cities. SPD Mayor Dieter Reiter has led the Bavarian capital since 2014 - but with 495 of the 926 precincts counted, Krause had won 59.1% of the vote, to Reiter's 40.9%.
