Super E10 petrol tops ?2 in Germany

Munich (dpa) - One day after diesel passed the ?2 ($2.32) mark in Germany, Super E10, the cheapest widely used petrol grade, has also risen above ?2 per litre in the national average. On Thursday morning, E10 reached ?2.003 per litre, according to the ADAC automobile association. On Wednesday morning it had still been just below the threshold at ?1.995.
