Cotton futures close lower

ZHENGZHOU, March 3 (Xinhua) -- Cotton futures closed lower Tuesday in daytime trading on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE). The most active cotton contract for May 2026 delivery lost 5 yuan (about 72.37 U.S. cents) to close at 15,255 yuan per tonne. On Tuesday, the total trading volume for six listed cotton futures contracts on the ZCE was 547,817 lots with a turnover of 41.63 billion yuan. As the world's largest producer, consumer......
