Man hospitalized after police shooting north of Sydney

SYDNEY, March 3 (Xinhua) -- A man has been hospitalized after he was shot by police officers whom he had allegedly threatened with a weapon north of Sydney on Tuesday morning. A police statement said that officers from the domestic violence high-risk offender attended a residence in the city of Newcastle, 120 km north of Sydney in the state of New South Wales (NSW), around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday to arrest a man wanted on five outstanding warrant......
