Germany's Lufthansa avoids Middle Eastern airspace due to war in Iran

Frankfurt (dpa) - Germany's Lufthansa Group is avoiding Middle Eastern airspace due to the conflict in the region, the company said on Monday. Airspace over Israel, Iran, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and the Saudi airport of Dammam will not be used by the group's airlines until at least March 8.
