Frankfurt (dpa) - Employees in Germany last year received 1.9% more pay in real terms compared to the previous year, according to data from the Federal Statistical Office released on Friday. This means that, taking account of inflation, workers had greater purchasing power. According to the statistics office, gross wages rose by 4.2% in 2025.
