SWAKOPMUND, 26 FEB (NAMPA) – Government has increased excise duties on alcohol and tobacco products for the 2026/27 financial year in line with Article 21 of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU) Agreement, effective 25 February 2026.
Tabling the 2026/27 National Budget on Thursday, Finance Minister Erica Shafudah announced that excise duties on all tobacco products have been increased by N.dollars 3.39.
