Norway jobless rate rises to four-month high in January

Oslo (dpa-AFX) - Norway's unemployment rate rose in January to its highest level in four months, labour force survey data from Statistics Norway showed on Wednesday. The seasonally adjusted jobless rate increased to 4.6% in January from 4.3% in December. This marked the highest reading since September 2025, when the rate stood at 4.7%.
