India's forex reserves rise by over 8.6 bln USD

NEW DELHI, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves increased by 8.7 billion U.S. dollars to 725.7 billion dollars during the week ended on Feb. 13, according to weekly data released by the central bank, the Reserve Bank of India, on Friday. In the preceding week, forex reserves had fallen by over 6.7 billion dollars. The central bank's data also revealed that the forex reserves' main component, the foreign currency ass......
