Katima Mulilo police officer granted bail in extortion case

KATIMA MULILO, 20 FEB (NAMPA) – A 37-year-old police officer arrested last Tuesday on suspicion of extortion and contravening the Anti-Corruption Act of 2003, has been released on bail following his appearance in the Katima Mulilo Magistrate’s Court.
Eric Simataa was granted bail of N.dollars 3 000 by Magistrate Laina Namboga when he appeared in court on Thursday.
