Russia in Contact With Denmark on Arctic Council, Not on Greenland - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW, February 4 (RIA Novosti) - Russia maintains regular contacts with Denmark regarding the work of the Arctic Council, but the issue of Greenland's status is not raised in these discussions, Vladislav Maslennikov, director of the Department of European Issues at the Russian Foreign Ministry, told RIA Novosti. "Russia is not involved in the current crisis surrounding Greenland; there is no basis for Russia to discuss this matter with Denmark.......
