Palma, Spain (dpa) - A German police officer is facing legal proceedings on the Spanish island of Mallorca linked to his alleged assault of a taxi driver in 2024, the victim's lawyer told dpa on Sunday. The incident occurred while the police officer from the German city of Essen was on holiday on Mallorca with a group of colleagues in August 2024.
