Russia Views Ukraine Conflict as Confrontation With West, Kiev Being Pawn - Lavrov

MOSCOW, January 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russia considers the Ukrainian conflict as a confrontation with Western countries, in which Ukraine serves as the West's pawn, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday. "Do we view this conflict as a broader confrontation between Russia and the West? The answer is yes.
