US Life Expectancy Reaches Record High of 79 Years in 2024 - CDC Data

WASHINGTON, January 29 (RIA Novosti) - Life expectancy in the US rose to a record 79 years in 2024, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said on Thursday. "Life expectancy for the U.S​​​. population was 79.0 years in 2024, an increase of 0.6 years from 2023," the statement said. Overall life expectancy increased from 78.4 years in 2023.
