Amazon to Lay Off Another 16,000 Employees - Statement

MOSCOW, January 28 (RIA Novosti) - US retail giant Amazon announced plans on Wednesday to lay off 16,000 employees in a second round of job cuts in three months. "The reductions we are making today will impact approximately 16,000 roles across Amazon, and we're again working hard to support everyone whose role is impacted," the company said in a statement.
