'Very Deep Poverty' in UK Hits 30-Year High - Report

MOSCOW, January 27 (RIA Novosti) - The number of people living in "very deep poverty" in the United Kingdom reached 6.8 million in the year 2023-2024, the highest figure seen in the last 30 years, according to a report by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) published on Tuesday.
