Magdeburg, Germany (dpa) - The German police union (DPolG) has called for matches behind closed doors to be considered for second division club Magdeburg in the wake of major fan trouble on the weekend in which at least 64 police officers were injured. DPolG chairman Heiko Teggatz said that economic interests and the presence of fans can not be placed above assuring safety for police officers and others at matches.
