German top football leagues surpass ?6 billion in revenue

Berlin (dpa) - The two top divisions in German football have generated record total revenues of more than ?6 billion ($7.14 billion), the German Football League (DFL) said in its economic report published on Monday. According to the report, the 36 clubs of the Bundesliga and second division generated a total revenue of ?6.33 billion in the 2024-25 season - ?461.2 million more than in the previous season.
