Guangdong carbon market closes lower

GUANGZHOU, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- Carbon emissions allowances closed at 37.94 yuan (5.43 U.S. dollars) per tonne on Monday, 6.69 percent down from the last transaction day at Guangzhou Emissions Exchange. A total of 2,409 tonnes of allowances were transacted on Monday with a turnover of 91,388.4 yuan.
