Bangladesh remittances in H1 of FY 2025-26 reach 16.27 bln USD

DHAKA, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- Bangladesh received 16.27 billion U.S. dollars in remittances in the first half of the current fiscal year from July 2025 to June 2026, an official said Tuesday. Quoting official data, Arief Hossain Khan, spokesperson and executive director of the Bangladesh Bank (BB), told Xinhua that the "inflow of remittances from Bangladeshis increased by more than 18 percent year on year to 16,265 million dollars during the July......
