German bus maker MAN receives record order from German rail operator

Munich/Berlin (dpa) - MAN, the German lorry and bus manufacturer, said on Saturday that it had received the largest order for buses in the company's more than century-old history after the German rail operator ordered more than 3,000 of them. Overall Deutsche Bahn is ordering more than 3,300 buses for the coming years, with Munich-based MAN to provide most of the vehicles.
