Kavango West records 221 new HIV infections as region marks World AIDS Day

MPORA, 13 DEC (NAMPA)- The Kavango West Region recorded 221 new HIV infections over the past year, with seven cases reported from Mpora Clinic alone.
This was revealed by the Kavango West Region’s Health Director, Fransiska Hamutenya, during the belated World AIDS Day commemoration held at Mpora Combined School in the Ncamagoro constituency on Friday.
