UN Suggests Waiting to See if US Effort on Thailand-Cambodia Dispute Works

UNITED NATIONS, December 12 (RIA Novosti) - The United Nations is waiting to see whether the latest initiative by US President Donald Trump will succeed in halting hostilities between Thailand and Cambodia, UN spokesman Farhan Haq said on Friday. "Certainly we'll see whether this latest initiative works," Haq told a briefing when asked whether the UN should show gratitude to President Trump. "Certainly it would be a very welcome step forward​​​."......
