Tokyo stocks end slightly higher amid directionless trading

TOKYO, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks ended slightly higher Monday amid directionless trading as investors adopted a wait-and-see stance before the U.S. Federal Reserve's two-day policy meeting. The benchmark Nikkei stock index, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average, ended up 90.07 points, or 0.18 percent, from Friday to 50,581.94.
