Macron Announces Release of French Citizen Detained in Venezuela

MOSCOW, November 16 (RIA Novosti) - French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday announced the release of French citizen Camilo Castro, who had been detained in Venezuela since June. "Camilo Castro is free. I share the relief of his loved ones and thank all those who worked for his release," Macron said on X. In turn, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said that Castro was safe on the plane that would bring him back to France....
