Frankfurt (dpa) - Swiss author Dorothee Elmiger has won this year's German Book Prize for her novel "Die Holländerinnen" ("The Dutch Women"), which the jury praised as a "fascinating trip into the heart of darkness." Elmiger, who was born in 1985 and lives in New York, was among the favourites for the ?25,000 ($28,900) award, one of the most prestigious in the German-speaking literary world.
