NEW YORK, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended higher on Monday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 587.98 points, or 1.29 percent, to 46,067.58. The S&P 500 added 102.21 points, or 1.56 percent, to 6,654.72. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 490.18 points, or 2.21 percent, to 22,694.61.
