A man on trial for the murder of his wife in a case that has gripped France claimed Monday to have been asleep during the night of her disappearance, which happened during the Covid-19 pandemic in December 2020. "I was asleep, and I didn't wake up," Cedric Jubillar, 38, told a courtroom in the southern town of Albi.
