Parts of Mongolia face drought

ULAN BATOR, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Approximately 46 percent of the Mongolian territory have experienced summer droughts, the National Agency for Meteorology and Environmental Monitoring said on Thursday. Currently, at least 62 soums (administrative subdivisions) of 15 provinces of the country were experiencing droughts, the agency said in a statement.
