Pakistan's inflation rises to 4.1 pct in July

ISLAMABAD, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's headline inflation, measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), rose to 4.1 percent year-on-year in July, up from 3.2 percent in June, official data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) showed on Friday. On a month-on-month basis, CPI inflation increased by 2.9 percent in July, compared to a rise of 0.2 percent in the previous month. The CPI had stood at 11.09 percent in July 2024. Pakistan's......
