OTJIWARONGO, 01 AUG (NAMPA) – President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has paid tribute to the late war veteran and former Robben Island political prisoner, Lazarus Guiteb, hailing him as a “gallant freedom fighter” who was instrumental in Namibia obtaining its independence.
Guiteb passed away on 15 July 2025, in Windhoek at the age of 82.
