Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples to be celebrated in Tsumeb

OMUTHIYA, 01 AUG (NAMPA) - The International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples will be celebrated in Tsumeb for the first time on 09 August.
The event will be held under the theme ‘Indigenous Peoples and AI: Defending Rights, Shaping Futures’, and will amongst others see Vice President Lucia Witbooi attend. Over 168 participants from 10 regions are expected to take part in the activities scheduled to take place at the Oscar Norich Stadium.
