WASHINGTON, July 31 (RIA Novosti) - US State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Tommy Pigott said on Thursday that the latest US sanctions targeting the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) stem from a biannual review and are not linked to the plans by a number of countries to recognize Palestinian statehood.
