Berlin (dpa) - German Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil has pledged to boost the economy and protect jobs as he presented the government's 2026 draft budget on Wednesday. "The main goal is to secure jobs and create new economic strength," Klingbeil, who also serves as vice chancellor, said in Berlin after the Cabinet approved his plans.
